Hewlett-Packard Raffle & Photos with Grand Champion Gourd at Pumpkin Festival
Benefits the Cabrillo Education Foundation
How often do you get to see and touch a massive, Volkswagen-sized 1,200-pound pumpkin let alone get to have your photo taken alongside something so unusual? At this year’s Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, October 17-18, you can do both.
Using HP’s award-winning printers and computers, your photo can be snapped, then instantly printed into a cardstock frame for a special take-home keepsake.
You can also enter the raffle for a chance to win an HP TouchSmart PC, an HP Notebook PC or an HP Tablet PC.

The cost is $10 for one raffle ticket, $25 for three raffle tickets, $12 per framed 5x7 picture. Take advantage of the special $25 package with one 5x7 framed picture and two raffle tickets. All proceeds benefit the Cabrillo Education Foundation, a non-profit 501 ( c ) 3 tax exempt organization, that operates independent of the Cabrillo Unified School District for the sole benefit of the students attending our local Coastside public schools. In carrying out its mission, the Cabrillo Education Foundation is committed to enriching educational excellence in our local public schools through fundraising and community out reach.
Established in 2003 the Cabrillo Education Foundation (CEF) was founded by community members who recognized that the quality of our educational system and the vitality of our community are inexorably intertwined. Since its inception the Foundation has distributed $670,000 donated dollars directly into the classrooms, funding the needs of our students and their teachers. To see how this money was spent please visit www.CEFfund.org. Last year, in recognition of the need for sustained funding for our local public schools, the Board of Directors created the Endowment Fund. “Building a permanent Endowment Fund is the best way to protect the investment we have made – and continue to make – in financing educational excellence” said Kathy Barbarino, CEF Treasurer.
“Because of the generous support of our community we already have over $1million dollars in our Endowment Fund.” said Christine Mendonca, Secretary of the Foundation.

This year’s 38th Annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival takes place October 17-18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on historic Main Street.
